Who can attend OZ Moot
Any registered member of their country's Scout Association aged between 18 and 26 at the time of the moot can attend as a Rover.
If your birthday falls between 31/12/1984 and 30/12/1992 then congratulations - you can attend as a Rover participant!
If you are older than this then you can attend as Staff - and still have a great time! There are two kinds of staff members:
- Expedition Staff - aged 18 and above
- General Staff - aged 26 and above
- Expedition Staff can participate in onsite and offsite activities and then work as an expedition leader.
- General Staff work in various roles on an offsite to help the Moot run smoothly. There are a number of different jobs that require staff - while the OZ Moot committee cannot guarantee you will get the job you want they will try their best according to your chosen preferences.
Moot Staff also get to participate in
an expedition of their choice - just like a Rover! All General Staff will be given the opportunity to participate in one silver off site expedition of
their choice.
Expedition Staff can participate in onsite and offsite activities and then work as an expedition leader. Please note that to attend OZ Moot as Expedition Staff you must be approved by Craig Parsons, Activity Director before your application can proceed.
